Everything Terminalwire does, as one commercial CLI your customers install with a single command — and it stays current on every deploy. No updater, no version skew, nothing to build or sign.

What you get

  • Every capability. Stream stdio, prompt for input and secrets, launch the browser to sign in, read and write files, read environment variables, and store encrypted per-user sessions.
  • One production CLI for up to 1,000 monthly active client users — your customers and their AI agents. A client user is anyone, or any agent, that ran a command that month.
  • We host and update the client for macOS, Linux, and Windows. Write commands in your app, deploy, and your users have them instantly.
  • Slack and email support from the people who build Terminalwire.

How it works

Your CLI is just your web app. Commands run on your server and stream over an encrypted WebSocket straight to the user — the traffic is direct, nothing passes through Terminalwire. Login reuses the session you already have, stored as an encrypted, signed file on the user’s machine, the same way your app handles cookies. And the client is capability-scoped: it can’t read a file or an environment variable until the user grants it, like a browser permission prompt. See how it works →

Add the gem, generate a CLI, write a few commands, deploy. There’s no separate binary, release pipeline, or SDK to maintain — the CLI lives in the framework you already know. Most teams are in front of customers in days.

No surprise bills

$199/month covers up to 1,000 monthly active client users. Past that it’s about $0.20 per active user per month — around 2,000 users is about $399/month, and we’ll tell you before anything changes. Talk to us about pricing at your scale, or step up to Scale.

“I shipped a polished command-line app to my users in a few days — the developer experience that used to take a team only a Series B could afford.”
